Kiwanis to meet

Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The meeting’s speakers will be Ashley Brown and Kayla Green of VA Services. Brown and Green will update the members about the new Veterans services at Lakeview Methodist Healthcare Center. The public is invited to attend.

Beach Party Rock on Ice

Fairmont Hockey Association PeeWee teams will host a beach party-themed Rock on Ice from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, March 20, at the Martin County Arena in Fairmont. Admission is $7 per person.

STEM activities at Fmt library

Build It! STEM activities, games and building toys will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. For additional information, contact the Martin County Library at (507) 238-4207.

Spring Vendor and Craft Show

The Spring Vendor and Craft Show will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fairmont. There will be two vendor rooms and door prizes. More than 20 vendors will be present. Breakfast and lunch will be served for a free-will donation. Proceeds will support a single mother of eight to find a reliable vehicle for safety and warmth while transporting and completing errands.

MC Pork Producers 2026 Banquet

The Martin County Pork Producers will celebrate its 2026 Banquet and the first honorees of the Martin County Pork Producers Hall of Fame, Daryl Bartz, Larry Becker, Duane Behrens, and Lonny Schwieger, with a social hour at 5 p.m., and a meal, awards program, and recognition ceremony at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at the Best Western hotel in Fairmont. Red Dirt Road will provide the entertainment. Doors open at 7:45 p.m. and concert-only tickets will be sold for $10 at the door. Tickets for the banquet cost $20 and can be reserved by contacting Andrea Fiebelkorn at (775) 397-8111.
