Baked Potato Lunch postponed

The Martin Luther High School (MLHS) Class of 2028 Baked Potato Bar Lunch (originally planned for Sunday, March 15) has been postponed, and will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, at MLHS in Northrop. The cost is a free-will donation.

McDonald’s CREST fundraiser

A McDonald’s CREST fundraiser will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at McDonald’s in Fairmont. McDonald’s will raise funds by donating 10 percent of its profits during this period to CREST. There will be a tip bucket inside the restaurant. CREST volunteers will help set up tables and help customers with their dining experience. CREST and McDonald’s invite everyone to support CREST on this day by purchasing a meal. Minn-Iowa Golf Membership Drive

Minn-Iowa 2025 Golf Membership Drive will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at the Minn-Iowa Golf Course in Elmore. A free brisket meal will be served. Three $100 prizes will be drawn. Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Fairmont will have a Lent midweek service, “Midweek 5-The Kingly Priest” at 6:30 p.m. with a meal served at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.

Books and Brews at Fmt library

Books and Brews will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Join a relaxed morning of coffee and conversation. Library staff will highlight books from the Eight Weeks/Eight Books challenge. Bring coffee and a friend to discover something new. FHRO to meet

The Fairmont Area Human Rights Organization of Martin County will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Mar. 19, at the CREST building in Fairmont. Following the Minnesota Department of Human Rights guidelines, the group strives to encourage respect and maintain dignity for all of Martin County. All are welcome to attend.
