Lee Kanten to perform at FBC

Local musician, singer and songwriter Lee Kanten will perform love songs for Valentine’s Day from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Fairmont Brewing Company in downtown Fairmont.

Valentine’s Day Rock on Ice

Valentine’s Day Rock on Ice will be from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Martin County Arena, at the Martin County Fairgrounds in Fairmont. The 10U girls’ hockey team will be hosting the event. Activities include skating, music and more. Admission is $7 per skater. Donations will be collected for the Martin County Humane Society.

SJV Hope Cafe

St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont will host Hope Cafe, and serve a free meal at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15. All are invited to join. If you are unable to attend, due to lack of transportation, please call (507) 235-2451 by noon on Friday, Feb. 13 to make arrangements for delivery.

CER YouTube Channel Starter Kit

YouTube channel starter kit workshop will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19 in a Zoom meeting. Discover how to share your hobbies, advice, tutorials, talents, and more with the world on the largest media platform. The class will offer a step-by-step process, giving participants all the tools and knowledge to get started. CER Level One Baton Twirling-Butterflies

Level one baton twirling classes for grades 1 and up will be from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 19 in the Little Cardinal Cafeteria at Fairmont Elementary School. Batons will be provided for use if you do not have your own. For an additional fee of $37, participants are able to purchase a baton to take home for practice. Instructor will set-up bonus additional twirl times to practice. Registration is required, costs $24, closes Sunday, Feb.15 and can be completed on the CER webstore.
