MLHS Mac and Cheese Cookoff

Martin Luther High School’s (MLHS) freshman class will host a Mac ‘N Cheese Cook-off on Friday, Feb. 6, during the Jaguars’ girls’ varsity basketball game versus Fairmont. Prizes will be awarded to the entries receiving the most votes. Entries are due by Friday, Jan. 30. Guests can sample and vote from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information, go to www.martinlutherhs.com.

MLHS Children’s Winter Carnival

The Martin Luther High School (MLHS) Student Council and National Honor Society will sponsor the Children’s Winter Carnival from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, at MLHS in Northrop. Activities include games, bounce houses, prizes and a parent lounge. Admission is $5 per child or $15 per family. Parents attend free. All are welcome.

Ruby’s Pantry in Granada

The Ruby’s Pantry drive-through grocery distribution will be from 10 to 11:30 on Saturday, Jan. 31 at the East Chain Evangelical Free Church in Granada.

Line dancing at Lake Belt

Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon and MW Movement: Line Dancing will host line dancing from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31. Admission is $5 at the door. Boots are not required, but recommended.

Lake Promenaders for lessons

Lake Promenaders square dancing club will meet and host lessons from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 408 West 1st Street in Welcome. No experience is needed. All are welcome.

Analog Games MTG Draft

Analog Games will have a Magic: The Gathering Outlaws of Thunder Junction Draft at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 207 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Admission is $20 per person. Participants will receive three Outlaws of Thunder Junction Boosters for the draft and prize support.
