CREST Lunch and Learn

CREST Lunch and Learn will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12 at the Fairmont Christian Church in Fairmont. The program will feature Ashley and Kory Brown from Midwest Valley Home Care. They will be sharing about connecting local seniors and disabled individuals with compassionate caregivers. All Martin County seniors are invited to bring a friend and enjoy this fun time that will be followed by a delicious, home-cooked lunch. RSVP by Jan. 9 by contacting (507) 235-3833. Play Café brewing at the library

PolkaSol to perform

PolkaSol will perform lively polkas, waltzes, and old-time songs from a mix of traditions, including Scandinavian, Irish, French, folk and popular music at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. This program is made possible in part with a grant from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund of the Minnesota Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment through the Traverse des Sioux Library System. ASL Basics at Fairmont library

Sign Language Basics will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. This is a beginner-level American Sign Language (ASL) session focused on learning winter activity vocabulary. It’s free, open to all ages, and no registration is required.
