Jordan Voss to perform

In conjunction with the Southern Minn. Pond Hockey Tournament in Fairmont, musician Jordan Voss will perform from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Skybar at the Marina Lodge Lakeside Pub and Provisions in Fairmont.

Races and Meat Raffles

Lake Belt Bar and Grill and Fox Lake Conservation will host Races and Meat Raffles will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Daddy Daughter Dance will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Trimont Covenant Church. Admission per family is $20 in advance (sold at the Trimont Town Center), and $25 at the door. Grand march will begin at 4:05 p.m. Families and friends are welcome to take photos. This event is for girls ages 12 and under, and their adult male figures, including grandparent, father, uncle, brother or guardian.

Gun Show at MLHS

At The Ready Armory LLC and Fairmont Trap Club will host a Gun Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. General admission is $5, and children under 10 are admitted for free. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18.

Sip and Paint in BE

American Legion Post 89, The Upper East Side Southern MN and Jennifer Hernandez Kafka will host Sip and Paint at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11 at the American Legion Post 89 Hall in Blue Earth. Registration is required, costs $30 (cash, check or Venmo the day of the class will be accepted) and can be completed by contacting (507) 399-1770.

Strawberry sales at Bowlmor

My Fruit Truck will sell sun-ripened fresh Florida strawberries ($30 for eight pound box), Elliot pecans ($15 for a 12 ounce bag) and South Dakota honey ($15 a jar) from 3:15 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11 at Bowlmor Lanes in Fairmont. Cash or card will be accepted. Pre-payment is not available, and the items are first come first serve.

Lake Promenaders offer lessons

Lake Promenaders Square Dance Club will offer beginner modern American square dance lessons from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 408 West 1st Street in Welcome. No experience is necessary. All are welcome.
