Fairmont Service Club to meet

The Fairmont Service Club will have its weekly meeting at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at the Best Western hotel in Fairmont. The speaker of the meeting will be Fairmont High School senior student, Klay Beemer. All are welcome to attend. For additional information, contact Marlys Rodgers.

People First to meet

People First will hold their monthly meeting from 4 to 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at the Pizza Ranch buffet restaurant in Fairmont. Huntley church offers supper

Wednesday Night Supper will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Community Covenant Church in Huntley. The menu includes soups, sandwiches, salads and sweets. All are welcome to attend.

CER Posture workshop

A posture workshop will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12 in a Zoom meeting. Students will learn how to correct common posture problems and learn an “Instant Alignment Technique’. The class will discuss easy to implement tips when at a computer, in a car or working out. There are many benefits to improving posture. It’s never too late to make improvements. A resistance band is needed for some exercises. Registration is required, costs $29, closes Jan. 8 and can be completed on the CER webstore. Blood drive at BE UHD

American Red Cross will have a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 at the United Hospital District in Blue Earth. Appointments can be made by visiting redcrossblood.org or by contacting 1-800-RED-CROSS.

Arcade Crimes at the library

Arcade Crimes Mini Mysteries for children ages eight to 12 will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Work together to solve a different mini-mystery every week. For additional information, contact the Martin County Library at (507) 238-4207.

Pokémon Card Club at the library

Pokémon Card Club for all ages will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Cuddle Buddies huddle at the library
