Cookie Walk at UCC

First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont will have a Cookie Walk, Bake and Craft Sale from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 at the church in downtown Fairmont. Cookies are $15 per pound.

Cookie Walk at Trinity

Trinity Lutheran Church’s 30th annual Cookie Walk will be from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the church in Truman. Christmas cookies, caramel, fudge, kringle, party mix and more will be available.

Santa and Sweets

Santa and Sweets will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Community Covenant Church in Huntley. Activities include visiting with Santa Claus, children’s activities, horse rides and wagon rides. The event is weather-permitting.

Movie Monday at the library

Movie Monday will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. The library will show the 1944 classic romantic comedy musical film, “Meet Me in St. Louis”. The movie follows the Smith family navigating life and love leading up to the World’s Fair in 1904 in St. Louis, Miss. There is no cost to attend. Registration is not required.
