UCC to host community meal

First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont will host a free community meal at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The menu includes pork commercials, green beans, bars, milk, coffee or water.

Books and Brews

Books and Brews Morning Edition will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Library staff will highlight biographies. Bring coffee and a friend and discover something new. Registration is not required. There is no cost to attend. Historical Event Trivia

Historical Event Trivia Night, hosted by the Martin County Library in Fairmont, will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 at Fairmont Brewing Co. Play solo or team up in pairs, and enjoy drinks available for purchase while you compete. There is no cost to attend. CER Lego Masters

Spend Thanksgiving Break creating some amazing Lego creations for grades 1 to 4 from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 in the Five Lakes Cafeteria at the Fairmont Elementary School. Themes may include: Disney, Theme Park, City Tower, Bridge, Pirate Ship, Monsters, Vehicles and more! Your Lego builds will be judged and we will award prizes! CER Dodgeball

Take a break from the turkey and join fast-paced dodgeball fun during Thanksgiving break, for grades 3 to 6 from 10 to 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 in the Little Cardinal gymnasium at the Fairmont Elementary School. This class is all about teamwork, quick reflexes, and lots of laughs. Dodge, dive, and throw your way through exciting games in a safe, supportive environment.
