American Legion to meet

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36 will meet at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 300 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend. Note the change of time.

FHRO to meet

The Fairmont Area Human Rights Organization of Martin County will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Following the guidelines from the nationally respected Minnesota Department of Human Rights, the group strives to encourage respect and maintain dignity for all the residents of Martin County. All are welcome to join.

Odin’s annual Fall Gift and Craft Show will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, to Sunday, Oct. 26 (excluding Monday through Wednesday) at the Odin Craft Mill. The show displays repurposed furniture, homemade yard art, jewelry, reclaimed pieces, contemporary and vintage home and holiday decorations, pallet art, pottery, canned and baked goods and more. Halloween crafts for adults

Create a Halloween-themed clay project with Jessica Peters at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Make a keychain, necklace, bookmark or more to take home. Class is limited to 15 people. Registration required. This program is for adults only. This program was made possible in part with a grant from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund of the Minnesota Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment through the Traverse des Sioux Library System.
