Kiwanis to meet
Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speaker of the meeting will be Fairmont Planning and Zoning Coordinator Mike Schutz. He will introduce himself to the members present and talk about his role. This meeting marks the beginning of the Fairmont Early Risers Kiwanis 2025-2026 year. Lieutenant Governor-Elect from the Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis Club, John Holt, will be present to install the following officers: 2026 President Dale Baruth, Vice President Mike Sullivan, Past President Jacob Wurster, Treasurer Jerry Jorgenson and Secretary Christine Hasek. The public is invited to attend.
Wednesday Night Supper in Huntley
Wednesday Night Supper will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Community Covenant Church in Huntley. The menu includes French bread pizzas, salad and dessert. All are welcome. For additional information, contact the church at (507) 866-4646.
Silo ’67 for Friday karaoke

Free testers at Recovery in Motion
Recovery in Motion in Fairmont will offer free-of-charge lifesaving Narcan nasal spray and fentanyl test strips to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3 at 1100 Indus Street in Fairmont. Without the test strips, visitors can come and learn more about Recovery in Motion and its mission.
Fairmont Farmers’ Market

2025 Fall Craft/Vendor Show
The 2025 Fall Craft and Vendor Show will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fairmont. There will be 40 booths. The P-Pod will serve food. For additional information, contact (507) 238-9340.
