Ruby’s Pantry distribution in Sherburn

Ruby’s Pantry will have a food distribution from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. This will be conducted in a drive-through procedure and you will not have to get out of your car. You are also asked to clean out the trunk of your vehicle. There are no income or residency guidelines. Ruby’s Pantry is funded by the $25 cash donation per participant for operational costs and they receive an abundance of food. If you have empty boxes that would fit nicely in a cart, would you please bring them and as you drive through let the volunteers know that you are donating them. Items vary each month so please check out the Facebook page (Ruby’s Pantry-RWC-Sherburn) the weekend before the distribution. There will be a partial list posted.

Vinyl record painting at Fairmont library

Vinyl record painting for all ages will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. All supplies will be provided. There is no cost to attend.
