East Chain Coffee Party

The East Chain United Methodist Church will host the Monthly Community Coffee Party from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9. Rolls, donuts, coffee, tea and juice will be served. A free-will offering is encouraged.

Community Worship at the Park

Grace Lutheran Church will host Wednesday Community Worship at the Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Sylvania Park Bandshell. Rain or shine. Messages each week from a variety of local pastors and community members. All are welcome.

Worship on the Water

Worship on the Water will be at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, at Wards Park in Fairmont. Guests can bring a lawn chair and sit at the park or sit in their boat. Radios should be tuned 88.1 FM to listen to the service. School supplies in good condition will be collected. Bars and coffee will be served.

Church on the Lawn

Church on the Lawn will be at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 22, at the East Chain Evangelical Free Church. The service includes live band worship, Bible teaching and kids’

Social media marketing with Nickie Welsh

A social media marketing workshop by Nickie Welsh will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12 in a Zoom meeting. Students will leave the class with action items they can easily implement themselves to see results for their business or role within their company and organization. Students will also benefit from having a plan for the rest of their 2025 year and know how to be effective with their time on social media for maximum results for gaining new clients or customers.
