Fairmont High School Class of 1960, spouses, and friends will meet for lunch at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Pizza Ranch buffet restaurant in Fairmont.

Red Rock presents Sister Luv

Noon Musical Lunch Series and Hot Dog Lunch, featuring Sister Luv, will be held at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont. These events are by free-will donation.

Fairmont Service Club to meet

Wednesday coffee at the Chubb House

The historic Chubb House in Fairmont is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Aug. 6 for coffee and more. Stop in to learn more about the first and only brick home in Martin County, and the man who built it in 1867 for his family, Dr. Orville P. Chubb. Healthy Weigh support group

The Healthy Weigh weight loss support group will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Optional weigh in will be at 5 p.m.

Wednesday Community Worship at the Park

Grace Lutheran Church will host Wednesday Community Worship at the Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, at the Sylvania Park Bandshell. Rain or shine. Messages each week from a variety of local pastors and community members. Following the event, root beer floats will be served. All are welcome.

Art Mart on Thursday

The Imagine Martin Art Mart will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7 at West First Street in Fairmont. Typical Art Marts are held every other Thursday, however, Imagine Martin has chosen not to hold an Art Mart that conflicts with the Martin County Fair.

Summer Shindig

The Summer Shindig will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Experience live music by Andrea Lynn, a portable ping pong table, Tiny School of Art, balloon animals, tasty eats from The Cup Truck, O’Scoops Ice Cream and Pizza Ranch. The event is free and open to all.

K-2 Storytime/Craft at RRC
