FOH All Shook Up Car Show
The Fairmont Opera House, Borderline Cruisers and Triple Digit Racing present the All Shook Up Classic and Modern Car Meet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Fairmont High School. All makes, models, tractors and bikes are welcome. Admission is free, but donations toward the preservation of the FOH are strongly encouraged.
FACT presents All Shook Up
The Fairmont Opera House (FOH) Fairmont Area Community Theater (FACT) presents the second weekend of, “All Shook Up”. Performances will be at 7 p.m. on July 31 and Aug, 1, and at 2 p.m. on Aug. 2 and 3. Tickets can be purchased from the www.fairmontoperahouse.org.
Yoga on the Beach Saturday
Josie Sodersten will host Yoga on the Beach at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Chain of Lakes Yacht Club in Fairmont. Admission is $5 for members, and $10 for non-members. Bertrand to perform at Marina Lodge

Sundaes in the Park
Sundaes in the Park will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3 at Triumph Memorial Park in Trimont. Glenn Henriken will provide the musical entertainment. Admission is free. Sundaes supplied by the Trimont Town Center will be served by volunteers. In case of uncooperative weather, the event will be moved to the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center Trimont Chapel. Peaches/honey at Bowlmor Lanes
The Fruit Truck will sell Colorado Palisades Peaches ($60 for a 20 pound box) and S.D. Honey ($15 for a 24 ounce jar) from 6:30 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3 outside of Bowlmor Lanes in Fairmont. Cash or card will be accepted. Prepayment is not available.
Backpack to School giveaway
Wireless World in Fairmont will host its eighth-annual Backpack to School event at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 at Wireless World/Verizon in Fairmont. Free backpacks including essential supplies for students in grades kindergarten to 12 will be given away. Backpacks are available while supplies last. The child must be present to claim their free backpack.
C&M Circus visits Blue Earth
The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus will perform at 2 p.m. and at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3 under a Circus Big Top at the Faribault County Fairgrounds in Blue Earth, sponsored by the Blue Earth Kiwanis Club. The family-friendly show features big cats, tight rope, aerialists, dogs, foot juggling, daredevils and more. Discounted tickets can be purchased in-person before the show (13 for adults, $8 for children and seniors) at Blue Earth Drug and Heartland Embroidery. Online tickets are available at https://cm-circus.square.site. ($13.75 for adults and $8.75 for children and seniors) Online tickets will be available until 10 p.m. on Aug. 2 or until sold out. On circus day, tickets can only be purchased at the box office ($16 for adults and $9 for children and seniors). Tent raising and free tour of the grounds will be at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 3.
