Fairmont Summer Run

The 46th Annual Fairmont Summer Run will be held at 8:30 a.m. for the five-mile, 9:30 a.m. for the two-mile, 10 a.m. for the quarter-mile and 10:05 a.m. for the half-mile on Saturday, July 26, at Fairmont High School. The event is coordinated by Fairmont CER and the Fairmont Area Runners. The races will be run on quiet streets and asphalt trails. All races will start and finish at the high school. Galaxy Band in Sylvania Park

The Red Rock Center for the Arts (RRC) will present the Galaxy Band at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, at the Sylvania Park Bandshell in Fairmont. The Galaxy Band will perform songs from the ’50s, ’60s and more. Bring your lawn chair, enjoy the music and grab a bite to eat at Kris Taco’s food truck and Gran D’s popcorn and lemonade. Sundaes in the Park welcomes Fetts

Sundaes in the Park will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, at Triumph Memorial Park in Trimont, hosted by the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center. The Fett Brothers (Ryan and Shane) will provide the musical entertainment. Sundaes will be available, supplied by the Trimont Town Center. A free-will donation will be accepted. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center, Trimont Chapel.
