Kiwanis to meet
Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speaker of the meeting will be Peter Engstrom of the Human Rights Committee. Peter Engstrom will inform about the recent activities at the Fairmont Human Rights Committee. The public is invited to attend.
Heritage Acres to meet and potluck
Heritage Acres will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, at the Prairieville Building on Lake Avenue. President Glenn Becker will introduce all new officers. After a potluck, secretary and treasurer reports will be read. Becker will lead a discussion of job and food needs for Threshing Day on Aug. 10. All members and the public are welcome to attend.
Silo’67 for Friday karaoke

Free testers at Recovery in Motion
Recovery in Motion in Fairmont will offer free-of-charge lifesaving Narcan nasal spray and fentanyl test strips to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 25, at 1100 Indus Street in Fairmont. Without the test strips, visitors can come and learn more about Recovery in Motion and its mission.
RRC hosts tote bag painting
The Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont will host Tote Bag Painting for individuals from grade 8 to adult from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the RRC. Truman Days this weekend
