Sundaes in the Park

Sundaes in the Park will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 20 at the Triumph Memorial Park in Trimont. Pastor Mike Ennis will provide live entertainment. Sundaes supplied by the Trimont Town Center will be served for a free-will donation. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center Trimont Chapel. Bean bag get-together

Community bean bag games will be at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 21 at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. Any individual of any skill level is welcome. Bring boards, bags and a lawn chair if you have them. For additional information, contact Jim at (507) 235-2414.

Tween Tuesday at the Fairmont library

Tween Tuesday will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. This program is for tweens in grades five and up. There is no cost to attend. Fairmont Farmers’ Market

The Fairmont Farmers’ Market will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22 at the north side of the Five Lakes Centre parking area.

Indoor pickleball

Paper Mâché Donuts

A paper mâché donuts art class for youth entering grades 3 to 7 will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29 and Wednesday, July 30 in the Art Room (Room 160) at the Fairmont Elementary School. In this fun and creative class, young artists will design their own paper mâché donuts, complete with colorful icing and sprinkles. From shaping the “dough”, adding unique toppings, students will bring their deliciously artistic donuts to life. Fee: $35. Summer Bash

Summer Bash for youth entering grades 1 to 5 will be from July 28 to Aug. 1 at the Five Lakes Cafeteria at the Fairmont Elementary School. Meet up with friends this summer and join us for CER Summer Camp. This week will include a mix of activities, sports and games including Wonderball, Domino Challenges, Demolition, Hallway Hockey, Cup Stacking, Lego Masters, Restaurant Wars, Marshmallow Towers, Scooter Races and more.
