KC to support Clemetsons with benefit dinner

The Fairmont Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a “Grilled Pork Loin” benefit dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fairmont. Profits will support two-year-old Watson (son of Lexy and Zak Clemetson)’s cancer treatment. The support of the community is appreciated. Cardinal Prime Summer

Cardinal Prime-Summer for youth entering grades 1 to 5 will be from 12:30 to 5 p.m., on Monday to Friday, July 7 to July 11, at the Five Lakes Cafeteria at the Fairmont Elementary School. The Cardinal Prime After-School Program is offered during the school year at Fairmont Elementary. S.T.E.M. projects, building activities, field sports, arcade games, playground fun and video games are activities Prime will do this week. Key Quest Dragon Kingdom

This one-of-a-kind, choose-your-own adventure, life-sized role-playing game will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday to Friday, July 7 to July 18, in Room 215 at the Southern Minnesota Educational Campus in Fairmont. This is for children entering grades third to sixth. Challenge your ability to think quickly and make good decisions. You create your own character, whether they are a Knight, Princess, Blacksmith, Dragon Hunter, Shop Owner, King or Queen, the decisions are up to you. Over 700 different paths make each game truly unique to the participants. Registration is required, costs $58, closes June 19 and can be completed on the CER webstore.
