Mini Monday at Fairmont Library

True Crime Night at Fairmont Library

True Crime Night with Foresenic Psychologist and True Crime Author Frank F. Weber will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 7 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Weber will discuss his investigative work, the writing process behind his gripping books, and the true story that inspired his latest releases. Junior Architects STEM

Junior Architects STEM edition for children in grades 1 to 3 will be from noon to 1 p.m. from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18 in Room 213 at the Southern Minnesota Educational Campus in Fairmont. This week, participants will work together or individually to build structures and buildings out of thousands of S.T.E.M bricks and blocks. Kids can be creative by creating and designing any structure they wish. The instructor will help guide their builds and provide ideas, but all architectural decisions are up to them! Participants will have access to Lego, Magnets, S.T.E.M Straws & Interconnecting blocks, KNEX, and many more building materials. Brittany Mosloski of Fairmont was named to the Spring 2025 President’s List of Honor at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D.

Piper Lebert of Fairmont was named to the Spring 2025 Honors List at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Carson Toomer of Fairmont was named to the Spring 2025 Dean’s List at Des Moines Area Community College in Des Moines Iowa. Toomer studies Mortuary Science.

Weston Loughmiller of Fairmont was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at the University of Minnesota.
