Fairmont Service Club to meet

Wednesday coffee at the Chubb House
The historic Chubb House in Fairmont is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays for coffee and more. Stop in to learn more about the first and only brick home in Martin County, and the man who built it in 1867 for his family, Dr. Orville P. Chubb. Get acquainted with Fairmont’s rich history and the volunteers who have worked hard to preserve this building. Cellphone safety with Nickie Welsh
Nickie Welsh will teach a class about cellphones and parenting from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 16 in a Zoom meeting. This session will help parents navigate the challenges of their child’s digital world and provide helpful tools for their parenting toolbox. Learn practical strategies for social media/friendships, setting boundaries, ensuring online safety, and fostering healthy screen habits. Magic shows in Martin County
Magic shows will be held on Wednesday, June 11, at 1:30 p.m. at the Truman Community Building and at 4 p.m. at the Martin County Library in Fairmont, and on Thursday, June 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Sherburn Theater and 4 p.m. at the Triumph Hall in Trimont.
Ag Trivia at Fairmont Brewing Co.

Student summer swim night
Martin County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (MCSAP) and Empower will host a free Summer Swim Night for all Martin County students in Grades 7 to 12 from 8 to 10 p.m. on June 12 at the Aquatic Park in Fairmont. Free pizza, popcorn, and prizes will be available.
K-4 fun at Fairmont library
