Kids’ Fishing Derby in Fairmont

Kiwanis Early Risers and Bass Seekers Club of Fairmont will sponsor the All-American Kids’ Fishing Derby and Casting Contest for ages 16 and younger from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 7, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Georgia Peaches sold at Bowlmor

The Fruit Truck Minnesota will sell Georgia peaches, blackberries and honey from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, at the Bowlmor Lanes in Fairmont. Only cash and Venmo will be accepted. Sundaes in the Park kickoff

The first performance of the 26th annual Sundaes in the Park will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, at the Triumph Memorial Park in Trimont, hosted by the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center. The live entertainment is brought by the Trimont Centennial Band. In case of rain, concerts will be moved indoors to the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center Trimont Chapel.

Blue Earth inclusive playground fundraiser

A Giant Park and Playground fundraiser will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, at 1134 Giant Drive in Blue Earth. Enjoy live music, a raffle with prizes, and family-friendly fun. All proceeds go towards building an inclusive playground for the Blue Earth community.

Navigate Uber with Nickie Welsh

Social Club Simple instructor Nickie Welsh will teach a class about Uber from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, in a Zoom meeting. Learn to use Uber at major airports so that you can travel with confidence and without having to ask a friend for a ride, as well as for other appointments and errands.
