Cancer support group

A free cancer support group will be at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, in the Lutz Cancer Center Lobby at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Fairmont. The speaker will be Laura Olsen P. T. A. from our PT department. This is for anyone in the community who has received a cancer diagnosis and caregivers. The support group offers compassionate, cancer-related education and a time for sharing experiences.

Fairmont Service Club to meet

The Fairmont Service Club will have its weekly meeting at noon on Tuesday, June 3 at the Best Western in Fairmont. Kiwanis to meet

Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speaker of the meeting will be 4 Under 40 recipient, Kristy Olson. The public is invited to attend.

ChatGPT training

Social Club Simple enrichment instructor Nickie Welsh will teach ChatGPT training from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, in a Zoom meeting. Students will learn how it works and explore practical everyday uses for ChatGPT in both the workforce and at home. All ages picture bingo

Rewind celebrates third anniversary

Rewind Med Spa in Fairmont will celebrate its third anniversary with a block party from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 5. Live music, vendors, and deals on packages and products will be available. Explore the spa’s full range of functional medicine, wellness and aesthetic services.

Art Mart in downtown Fairmont

The Imagine Martin Art Mart will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, at West 1st Street and Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. The Art Mart will be held every other Thursday until September. For additional information about the event, contact info@imaginemartin.com.

Free testers at Recovery in Motion

Recovery in Motion in Fairmont will offer free-of-charge lifesaving Narcan nasal spray and fentanyl test strips to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 6 at 1100 Indus Street in Fairmont. Without the test strips, visitors can come and learn more about Recovery in Motion and its mission.

June activities for disabled adults will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 6, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. This event is designed for adults with disabilities.
