DIY Card Stamping at the Fairmont Library

DIY Card stamping will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. We have cards, ink, and stamps you can use, but feel free to bring your ink and stamps too. Grade 2 to 6 tennis camp

Youth tennis camp for students entering grades 2 to 6 is this summer. Session 1 is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on June 16, 17, 18, 20, and from June 23 to June 27. Session 2 is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on July 7 to July 11 and on July 14 to July 18. Learn tennis fundamentals and play the Fairmont Cardinal Tennis teams’ favorite tennis games. Activities are specifically designed for every skill level and age group. Weather-related announcements will be made on 106.5 Lakes FM and the CER Facebook page. Registration is required, costs $25 for one session or $40 for both sessions, closes on May 26 (to receive a t-shirt) or June 2, and can be completed on the CER webstore. Grade 7 to 12 tennis camp

A youth tennis camp for students entering grades 7 to 12 is this summer. Boys and girls will be split into two groups, and will practice from 7 to 8:20 a.m. every other day on June 16, 17, 18, and 20, June 23 to June 27, July 7 to July 11, and July 14 to July 18. Groupings and dates specific to each player will be emailed out after registration closes. Various match play opportunities will be available for all students in June and July. CER offers instant piano lessons

Piano lessons will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, June 2 or Monday, June 9, in a Zoom meeting. Learn to play piano the way professionals do, using chords. The class includes the online book, online follow-up lessons, a recording of the class, and an optional periodic question-and-answer session. The class is partly hands-on instruction and lecture demonstration. This class is for individuals age 13 and up.
