YouTube Starter Kit with Nickie Welsh

Nickie Welsh will teach a class about launching a YouTube channel from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, in a Zoom meeting. We’ll guide you through a step-by-step process, ensuring students have all the tools and knowledge to get started. Students will leave the class with confidence on how to effectively start, manage, and create their very own YouTube channel successfully. Patent Pending Players auditions

The Patent Pending Players will hold children’s play auditions for children in grades 3 to 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, and from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, at the theater on Highway 9 between Armstrong and Swea City, Iowa. Free testers at Recovery in Motion

Recovery in Motion in Fairmont will offer free-of-charge lifesaving Narcan nasal spray and fentanyl test strips from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, at 1100 Indus Street in Fairmont. Without the test strips, visitors can come and learn more about Recovery in Motion and its mission.
