Kiwanis to host pancake supper

The Early Risers Kiwanis Club and Fairmont Band Boosters will host an all-you-can-eat Spring Pancake Supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 5, at the Five Lakes Centre mall in Fairmont. Pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice, milk and coffee will be served. Pre-sale tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. At the door, tickets are $8 for adults and $4.50 for children. Proceeds will support the Fairmont High School Marching Band’s summer trip.

Cancer Support Group to meet

A Cancer Support Group will meet at 4:30 p.m. on May 6 in the Lutz Cancer Center Lobby (Door 3). The speaker will be Maria Doran-Threat C. N. P. This is for anyone in the community with a cancer diagnosis and caregivers. The support group offers compassionate, cancer-related education and a time for sharing experiences! This is a free event. The event is held on the first Tuesday of each month.
