Kyle’s Crew Cancer Benefit at Eagles Club

A cancer benefit event for Kyle Redenius will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Eagle Club in Fairmont. Kyle Redenius, a lively and helpful community member, was diagnosed with Squamous cell Carcinoma and began treatment two months ago. Kyle and the family need help with medical expenses, and joy from the community to battle this difficult time. At the event, there will be spaghetti, live music, a bake sale, a silent auction, and t-shirts. There are several ways to contribute to the benefit and Kyle’s recovery. CER to teach children ice skating basics

Learn to Skate provides young boys and girls with the fundamentals of ice skating. Participants will be able to acquire gear from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 23. The first session will be from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 30 at the Martin County Arena located in the Martin County Fairgrounds. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly. Pre-registration is required, costs $63 per child, $125 equipment deposit, and must be completed by Oct. 16. A t-shirt is included in this activity. CER to strengthen youth hockey skills

Learn to Play Hockey will be having hockey classes to polish the hockey basics and skills of young players in the community. Participants must have skills in ice skating before enrolling in this program and will be fully dressed in hockey gear while they train.
