Library pieces together a puzzle race for adults

Put together a team of four adults and join the race. The Martin County Library in Fairmont will be hosting The Great Puzzle Race at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7. See which team can complete their matching puzzle with the fastest time. There is no fee to attend, but pre-registration is required. CER helps battle carb cravings

Community Education and Recreation (CER) invites Janice Novak, who will conduct an online (Zoom) workshop at 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. In this class, Novak will discuss a two-week plan to ease cravings for foods with excessive carbohydrates, discover methods for weight loss, and balance insulin levels. CER helps dodge pitfalls of menopause

Community Education and Recreation (CER) invites Janice Novak, who will conduct an online (Zoom) workshop regarding perimenopause/menopause at 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7. In this class, Novak will help participants identify common symptoms, discuss how to get hormone levels measured, treatments and relief, and more. American Legion for Saturday brunch
