Service Club to meet Tuesday
The Fairmont Service Club will hold its next weekly meeting noon Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Best Western in Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Joann Woodward, who will speak about “Dollars for Scholars.” Guests are always welcome. With questions, call Ken Detloff at (507) 236-4298.
Fairmont Chamber slates Tuesday lunch event
Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce will offer a Lunch & Learn opportunity to meet with Energy Smart efficiency specialists providing consultations to business leaders from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Best Western in Fairmont. Free lunch and program for Chamber members or $15 for non-members.
Museum to display 20th-century Fairmont documentary
The Pioneer Museum will be showcasing a 1950s documentary about Fairmont, titled This is Our Town Fairmont, Minnesota at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. Library to hold event for tweens and teens
Martin County Library in Fairmont will host an after-hours event for teens and tweens from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. Attendees will be able to indulge in food, activities and more fun. Chubb House holds Wednesday coffee
The public is invited to join Chubb House committee members for coffee and treats beginning 10 a.m. every Wednesday morning at the Chubb House, 209 Lake Ave. in Fairmont. Stop by each Wednesday and appreciate one of Fairmont’s historical treasures.
