Mini Monday at the Fairmont Library

Join library staff for Mini Monday beginning 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This program is for kids, ages newborn to age 5, with an adult caregiver. Enjoy stories, songs and play time. There is no cost to attend this program and registration is not required.

Affordable health screenings coming to Fairmont

Residents living in and around Fairmont can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other serious, chronic conditions with affordable screenings by Life Line Screening. Red Rock Center for the Arts, located at 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont, will host this community event on Tuesday, Sept, 17. Screenings are affordable, convenient and accessible for wheelchairs and those with trouble walking. Free parking is also available.
