Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast and an informative talk Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speakers will be board members of the Relay for Life. Breakfast starts at 6:30 a.m., with the meeting getting underway at 6:50 a.m. The public is invited. Join them for breakfast and a wonderful talk from the Relay for Life members.

“Worship in the Park,” sponsored by Grace Lutheran Church, invites you to worship with them beginning 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Sylvania Park in Fairmont. The public is welcome. Bring a friend.

Daniel Betts of Fairmont graduated and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with summa cum laude honors during a commencement on May 11 at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.
