Threshing Day Sunday at Heritage Acres

Visit Heritage Acres, a historic farmstead in Fairmont, for threshing day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 507 Lake Ave. in Fairmont. There will be plenty of fun for family and friends of all ages including a blacksmith, pedal pull, teepee tours, wagon rides, petting zoo, threshing and more. They will also have live music by Barefoot Becky and the Ivanhoe Dutchmen as well as great food available on site. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Books and Brews Thursday at Fairmont Library

Join library staff for Books and Brews Morning Edition beginning 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. Staff will highlight fantasy novels.
