Church on the Lawn in East Chain

“Church on the Lawn” services will be held beginning 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at East Chain Evangelical Free Church, located three miles east of the village of East Chain. The speaker will be Ben Fox, Pastor of East Chain Ev. Free Church. The service includes live band worship, bible teaching and wonderful kids program. Prior to the service, donuts and coffee will be served at 10 a.m. Bring your lawn chair and a friend. After the service, join them for a lunch pizza party. The public is welcome. In case of inclement weather, they will meet inside the church.

Class of 1960 to lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1960, spouses and friends will meet for lunch 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont. All classmates are encouraged to attend.

Teen and tween after hours Tuesday at the library

Join library staff for a teen/tween after hours event from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. Enjoy activities, food and fun. There is no cost to attend and no need to register for the program.
