Low Vision Support Group to meet Monday

CREST is holding a Low Vision Support Group that provides reassurance and assistance to people living with vision related problems. You are free to share what’s bothering you and learn about ways to combat and/or live with low vision. You are not alone. Working together can make our lives much

brighter. The next Low Vision Support Group meeting will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, at the CREST office, 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont. The topic of the day will focus on aids to help get you around the house. Please consider sitting in on this meeting if you are experiencing some sort of visual problem. No registration is necessary. Refreshments will be served following the meeting.

CER to offer upcoming community activity

Fairmont Community Education & Recreation (CER) will offer an upcoming community activity. Cops and Bobbers for ages 10-14 will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. This is a free event. Cops and Bobbers is dedicated to bringing kids, police and community together for an outdoor event that is both educational and fun. Fishing pole and tackle will be provided.
