Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast and an informative talk beginning 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Lisa Stromberg of the Martin County Fair Board. The public is invited to come for breakfast and hear a captivating talk from Lisa about the Martin County Fair.

Storyteller Arn Kind to present Saturday program

Join educator and storyteller, Arn Kind, as he tells about these amazing facts in his program entitled “Minnesota’s Fabulous Firsts.” He will do a presentation about Minnesota in the Civil War from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the Truman Community Building in Truman. This educational experience for people of all ages is FREE. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
