First Congregational to sell Heavenly Delights

First Congregational UCC will be selling Heavenly Delights from 5-7 p.m. tonight, July 19, outside of The Hub, 103 W. 1st St. in Fairmont. Free will donation. Part of the proceeds will help buy a pig through the Heifer Project. Christian Krispies, Holy Hog Cookies, Holy Rollers, Congo Crackers, Holy Smoke Oreos and Blessed Bacon Popcorn will also be available. All are welcome.

Service Club to meet Tuesday

The Fairmont Service Club will hold its next weekly meeting noon Tuesday, July 23, at the Best Western in Fairmont. Historical Society offers Tuesday program

A PowerPoint presentation entitled “The Life and Times of Helen Gilbert,” a Martin County native, and “Martin County Sheriffs” will be shown 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at the Pioneer Museum. There is no charge. The public is invited to attend.

Summer events for kids at libraries

Join library staff for Tween Time beginning 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. They will have fun activities for teens and tweens. There will also be weekly fun for kids in grades K-4 starting 10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont.
