Church on the Lawn in East Chain

“Church on the Lawn” services will be held beginning 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 21, at East Chain Evangelical Free Church, located three miles east of the village of East Chain. The speaker will be Terry Baxter, co-founder of GoServe Global and former member of the Iowa State Legislature. The service includes live band worship, bible teaching and wonderful kids program. Prior to the service, donuts and coffee will be served at 10 a.m. Bring your lawn chair and a friend. Stay after for MC Pork Producers pork chops-on-a-stick, pork patties & O’Scoops Ice Cream.The public is welcome. In case of inclement weather, they will meet inside the church.

Trimont Sundaes in the Park this Sunday

The fourth Trimont Sundaes in the Park for the 2024 season is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at Triumph Memorial Park in Trimont. Entertainment will feature Glenn Henriksen. Bring your lawn chair and get an awesome ice cream sundae. Donations are appreciated for the sundaes. The concert is free. Everyone is invited.

Mini Monday at the Fairmont Library

Join library staff for Mini Monday beginning 10 a.m. Monday, July 22, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This program is for kids, ages newborn to age 5, with an adult caregiver. Enjoy stories, songs and play time. There is no cost to attend this program and registration is not required.
