Galaxy Jars for Disabled Adults Friday at library

Join library staff for galaxy jars, designed for adults with disabilities, beginning 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. There is no cost to attend and registration is not required. For questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.

Borderline Cruisers plan car show

Borderline Cruisers Car Club will hold its 32nd annual Classic Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8, on Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Registration will be 9 a.m. to noon. Show registration costs $15. Trophies will be awarded by club’s choice and your chance to win a toolbox. All are welcome.

Blood drive Monday in Sherburn

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 1-6 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the Regional Worship Center (across from Kum & Go) in Sherburn. Bryn Miller of Fairmont was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health with summa cum laude honors at commencement ceremonies held May 9-11 at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
