Sportsman Club sets shooting event

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold its annual appreciation trap shoot event beginning noon Sunday, April 7, at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain on 254th Avenue. There will be free trap shooting all day. Barbecues and chips will be served all day as well. For more information, contact Moby at (507) 236-4189. Everyone is welcome.

Mini Monday at the Fairmont Library

Join library staff for Mini Monday beginning 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This program is for kids, ages newborn to age 5, with an adult caregiver. Enjoy stories, songs and play time. There is no cost to attend and registration is not required.

“Lunch and Learn” coming Monday in Fairmont

Many people enjoy playing games with friends and family. Some of the most popular games include Monopoly, Scrabble and Clue. The next CREST Lunch and Learn program will take place 11 a.m. Monday, April 8, at the CREST office, 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont. This month will feature a game day and a lunch with a baked potato bar and a dessert. If you would like to attend this event, please RSVP the CREST office at (507) 235-3833. This activity is open to seniors in Martin County and a free-will donation is always welcome.
