People First to meet today

People First will hold their next monthly meeting from 4-5 p.m. today, April 2, at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont. Anybody that has questions about this self-advocacy group can call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017.

Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast and an informative talk at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Matt Baker, Associate Minister at Bethel Evangelical Free Church. Kiwanis is excited to hear from Matt and a wonderful message about the resurrection of Jesus. The public is invited to come for breakfast and hear a talk from Matt.

Huntley church to hold Wednesday supper

Community Covenant Church of Huntley will hold a community supper from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the church located at 31323 170th St. in Huntley. They will serve hamburger potato bake, cheesy corn, lettuce salad and dessert. Take-outs are available by calling the church. A free-will offering for the meal is suggested. St. John Vianney to host silent & live auction

The 32nd annual silent and live auction, sponsored by the Fairmont Area Knights of Columbus, Council 1575, will be held Saturday, April 6, in the gymnasium at St. John Vianney School in Fairmont. The silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. and the live auction will get underway at 8:30 p.m. Free admission. Open to the public. Food and beverages will be available. A donation from the proceeds will go to ARC/Martin County People First and CREST.
