Library to hold events on Monday

Martin County Library in Fairmont will hold 2 events next Monday. First, join library staff for Classic Movie Monday beginning 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. They will show ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.’ Popcorn and water will be served. Also, join library staff for Lego Club starting 5 p.m. Monday, March 18, at the Fairmont Library. This is for kids in grades, K-6. All supplies are provided and registration is not required. Service Club to meet Tuesday

The Fairmont Service Club will hold its next weekly meeting noon Tuesday, March 19, at the Best Western in Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Brooke Wohlrabe, editor/publisher of the Sentinel newspaper. Guests are always welcome. With questions, call Lorin Pollock at (507) 230-4800.

Spice of Life meeting Thursday in Fairmont

CREST’s “Spice of Life” program is where persons living with Alzheimer’s/Dementia and their caregiver come together with others and enjoy a fun time. This month will be a fun St. Patrick’s Day activity with shamrocks and four leaf clovers. Spice of Life will take place 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the CREST office, 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont. There is no charge for this event, but RSVP’s are encouraged by calling (507) 235-3833. Hope to see you there.
