Sportsman Club sets shooting event

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold a season opening trap shoot event beginning noon Sunday, March 10, at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain on 254th Avenue. They will be shooting practice rounds, then 16-yard and 25-yard Oakley’s and Boondocks – Shooters Choice. The grill will be on all day. For more information, contact Moby at (507) 236-4189. Mini Monday at the Fairmont Library

Join library staff for Mini Monday beginning 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This program is for kids, ages newborn to age 5, with an adult caregiver. Enjoy stories, songs and play time. There is no cost to attend this program and registration is not required.

Hospital retirees to hold lunch

Fairmont Community Hospital retirees will hold their next luncheon 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, at the Green Mill Restaurant in the Best Western, Fairmont. All persons who worked and retired from the hospital in Fairmont are invited to attend.
