Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Fiona Green from the Red Rock Center for the Arts. The public is invited.

Church in Huntley plans Wednesday supper

The Community Covenant Church, 31323 170th St. in Huntley, Minn., invites everyone to join them for Wednesday night supper from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1. The menu is hot cheesy turkey sandwiches, corn, salads and pumpkin dessert. This is a free-will donation.

MLHS drama department to present comedy

The drama department of Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School in Northrop will present a funny and frenetic comedy entitled “Maid to Order” at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 in the gymnasium at the high school in Northrop. The audience will enjoy this mad maid mix-up with mobsters, millionaires and mistaken identities. The students are under the direction of Amanda Bergt and Hayley Luther. Admission is $12 for adults, and $8 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Everyone is invited to attend.

Immanuel Women to sponsor fall luncheon

Women of Immanuel Lutheran – Women’s Missionary League will sponsor a fall festival luncheon and bake sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 in the basement at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1200 N. North Ave. in Fairmont. The meal costs $10 per person and includes chicken and stuffing squares, cranberry relish, glazed carrots, dinner rolls, assorted pies and coffee. Take-outs are available. A bake sale will be held as well. Everyone is welcome.
