Woodland Avenue plans Halloween events

Many events are planned for the Woodland Avenue Halloween celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 31. First a parade from Woodland Avenue/Albion Avenue to Bird Park will begin at 5:15 p.m. Witches of all ages are welcome to walk along the parade route. Woodland Witches will hold their first dance at 5:30 p.m. with the second dance set for 6:15 p.m. JoJo’s BBQ Food Truck will be on-site serving hot meals. By purchasing an adult meal, kids can eat for free. Everyone is welcome to this annual fun Halloween event.

Class of 1961 to lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1961, spouses and friends will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont. All classmates are encouraged to attend.

People First offers fudge sales
