Low Vision Support Group meets Monday
CREST is holding a Low Vision Support Group that provides reassurance and assistance to people living with vision-related problems. You are free to share what's bothering you and learn about ways to combat and/or live with low vision. You are not alone. Working together can make our lives much brighter.
The Low Vision Support Group will meet 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the CREST office, 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont. Please consider sitting in on this meeting if you are experiencing some sort of visual problem. No registration is necessary and refreshments will be served following the meeting.
Play Café Tuesday at Fairmont Library
Play Café, for children newborn to age 5 and their caregivers, will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. Join library staff to explore and play at the library. There is no cost to attend and no need to register. For questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
Trick or Treat next Tuesday at Lakeview Campus
Kids are welcome on Tuesday, Oct. 31, to come trick and treat down the halls of Lakeview Campus (Lakeview Methodist Healthcare Center, Maplewood Residence and Woodland Manor) located at 610 Summit Dr. in Fairmont. The fun begins at 3:30 p.m. and ends at around 4:30 p.m.
