Ruby’s Pantry plans distribution

Ruby’s Pantry will hold a food distribution from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the East Chain Evangelical Free Church, located at 507 280th Ave., rural East Chain. This will be conducted in a drive-through process. Participants will not have to get out of their cars. Participants are also asked to clean out the trunk of their vehicle prior to the event. There are no income or residency guidelines. Ruby’s Pantry is funded by the $25 cash donation per participant for operational costs. Just Ghostin’ Around Monday at Fairmont Library

Join library staff for a fun, family-friendly “ghostly” event beginning 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This program is open to the public and there is no cost to attend. For questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
