Red Rock sets Saturday activity
Red Rock Center invites you to drop in for KIDCASSO, an open art studio experience for kids, from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at 222 E. Blue Earth Ave. in Fairmont. Come and create with them. Please use south entrance.
Lego Club Monday at Fairmont Library
Join library staff for Lego Club beginning 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This is for kids in grades K-6. Come, bring a friend. No registration required. All supplies are provided. For questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
Ruby’s Pantry planned Monday in Sherburn
Ruby’s Pantry will be held Monday, Oct. 16, at the Regional Worship Center, 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. Distribution will begin around 5:30 p.m. and continue until 7 p.m. This will be a drive-through distribution again. Limited pre-pay is available by going to rubyspantry.org and find the express track link. You can pre-pay until noon the day before the distribution. Participants are asked to stay in their vehicles, as volunteers will load bundles of food into trunks. (Please have trunks emptied out so workers can put the items directly in there). Please do not bring any containers. There will be a worker at the beginning of the line to collect the $25. No income or residency requirements. There will be a list of distributed items this weekend on their Facebook page at Ruby’s Pantry-RWC-Sherburn. Valley Quilters to meet Monday
The second meeting of the Blue Earth Valley Quilter’s 2023-2024 year will be held 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, in the media center at Blue Earth Area High School. Please enter through Door C. They will start the meeting with introductions and show-and-tell. Annual dues of $5 will be collected. For show-and-tell this month, bring a fall/Halloween item and it can be something that you’ve shown before. Newly finished quilts are always welcome. The program will feature Lin Hilgendorf on applique. The quilting group is open to everyone who enjoys quilts or quilting. Quilters of all skill levels are welcome.
