Red Rock to hold events this week
Red Rock Center for the Arts will present a free musical hour with Julie Fleming beginning noon today, Oct. 10, at 222 E. Blue Earth Ave. in Fairmont. Also there will be an afterschool gallery walk, with pumpkin decorating and more, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11. The public is invited.
Early Risers set Wednesday meeting
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Katy Gonzalez from Kinship of Martin County. The public is invited.
Craft for Disabled Adults Friday at Fairmont Library
Join library staff for a craft event designed for adults with disabilities beginning 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. There is no cost to attend and registration is not required. For more information, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
Coats for the Community Saturday in Fairmont
The Area Disability Provider's Group and Twelve Baskets will sponsor an event providing free coats and winter wear from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct.14, in front of Twelve Baskets, 210 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Martin Luther plans Sunday baked potato dinner
Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School class of 2024 will be serving a baked potato bar dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at the high school in Northrop. A variety of toppings for your potato will be available, plus dessert and beverage. Cost is a free will donation. The senior class will also be selling Watkins products. Orders are due on Oct. 23 with delivery on Nov. 8. Everyone is invited.
