Early Risers set Wednesday meeting
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be John Bartscher, Community Education & Recreation (CER)/Prime Coordinator for Fairmont Area Schools. The public is invited.
Simon reunion planned on Sunday
Simon family reunion will be held noon Sunday, Sept. 10, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. All family members are encouraged to attend.
Knights plan upcoming appreciation event
Members of the community who have supported Knights of Columbus activities are invited to attend the 26th annual "Appreciation Dinner," which will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 920 E. 10th St., Fairmont. Hamburgers, baked beans, corn on the cob and garden vegetables will be served free of charge. This event is held in appreciation for all the support the Knights have received this past year. Raffles will be held and door prizes will be given away.
