Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Mat Mahoney, Fairmont Jr/Sr High School Activities Director, who will talk about what’s happening in sports at the schools this year. The public is invited.

Blood drive planned Thursday

There will be an American Red Cross blood drive from 1-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at United Methodist Church, 311 Mondale St. in Elmore. Grace Lutheran to hold Bible studies

You are invited to come and see who God is in a deeper way beginning with the book of Ephesians for the first 12 weeks followed by a study of Ruth and 1st and 2nd Samuel which will take us up until Spring. Studies begin 7-8:15 p.m. Monday evenings beginning Sept. 11 through Dec. 18 and Jan. 8, 2024, through April 15 at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 S. Grant St. in Fairmont.
